The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, in particular to decoration waste-based high-strength foam concrete and a preparation method thereof. The invention provides the decoration waste-based high-strength foam concrete which comprises the following components in parts by mass: 30-50 parts of decoration waste, 15-30 parts of a mineral admixture, 30-55 parts of cement, 0.2-0.4 part of a waterproof agent, 0.2-1.0 part of a reinforcing agent, 0.25-0.4 part of a water reducing agent and 0.17-0.3 part of a foaming agent. The high-strength foam concrete is prepared by combining the backing material obtained after resourceful treatment of the decoration waste with cementing materials such as cement, has the characteristics of light weight, high strength and good waterproof effect, meanwhile, promotes resourceful treatment work of the decoration waste, improves the additional value of products, and saves a large amount of resources such as natural sand and cement.
