The invention discloses an environment-friendly recoverable building formwork and a preparation method thereof. The environment-friendly recoverable building formwork comprises a central plate, two wear-resisting plates, a cylindrical cavity, and an upper side angle limiting piece; the two wear-resisting plates are respectively fixed on two sides of the central plate in an adhesive mode; the cylindrical cavity is formed in the central plate in a penetrating mode; a connecting part is arranged in the middle of the interior of the cylindrical cavity; V-shaped parts are arranged in the cylindrical cavity and located on two sides of the connecting part; and the upper side angle limiting piece is arranged at the upper left corner of the central plate. According to the environment-friendly recoverable building formwork and the preparation method thereof, steel slag is blended into raw materials of the building formwork, the overall strength of the central plate is improved, the wear-resisting plates are fixedly connected to the two sides of the central plate in an adhesive mode, and the strength of the surface of the central plate is enhanced, so that the building formwork has higher impact resistance, is not prone to deformation in use and is not prone to surface damage, the using frequency is improved and the service life is prolonged; moreover, the steel slag is utilized, so that the energy is saved, and the environment is protected.
