A valve pit for ventilation and drainage of a long-distance pipeline comprises a valve pit body, a water collection pit, a ventilation valve, a manual butterfly valve, a flange closing plate, a first steel short pipe and four ventilation pipes; the valve pit body is located above a water conveying pipe; the water collection pit is located at the bottom part of the valve pit body, and a drainage pump is placed; the ventilation valve is located in the valve pit body, and the lower portion of the ventilation valve is connected with the manual butterfly valve through a tee joint; the lower portion of the manual butterfly valve communicates with the flange closing plate through a pipeline; the lower end of the flange closing plate communicates with the first steel short pipe through a flange plate; the lower end of the first steel short pipe communicates with the water conveying pipe through a tee joint; and the four ventilation pipes are pre-buried in four directions of the valve chamber body. The valve pit has the advantages that the structure is simple, implementation is convenient, ventilation and drainage are integrated, a drainage valve, a drainage valve pit, a drainage wet well are saved, the engineering investment is saved, and later operation and maintenance are more convenient.
