The newborn isolation ward comprises a ward body, a fresh air inlet and an air outlet formed in the top of the ward body, an air supply unit for enabling external air to enter a chamber from the fresh air inlet, a filtering device for filtering the air entering the chamber, an air direction guide plate arranged at the top of the chamber and used for guiding air flow, an air return port formed in the bottom of the ward body and communicating with the chamber, an air return pipeline arranged on the side wall of the ward body and communicating with the air return port and the air outlet, an exhaust fan arranged at the air outlet, and a second high efficiency filter for filtering air exiting the chamber; and a branch pipeline connected with an air inlet of the air supply unit is arranged at the upper end of the air return pipeline. By means of the mode, the environment in the newborn isolation ward can be guaranteed, cross infection between patients is avoided, the possibility that medical staff are infected is reduced, the structure is compact, and the space utilization rate is high.
