The invention discloses a steel bar positioning structure for building construction. The structure comprises a shell, a clamping mechanism, a first clamping plate, a second clamping plate, a rotating column, a torsion spring, a supporting mechanism and supporting rods. The structure has the beneficial effects that the supporting rods are connected to the shell in a sliding mode, the multiple supporting rods are provided and evenly arranged on the shell with the circular section, the supporting rods are used for supporting straight-strip-shaped steel bars, the distances between the straight-strip-shaped steel bars are the same, and therefore the straight-strip-shaped steel bars can bear the same force in the using process, and the stability of a building is facilitated; and the rotating column is sleeved with the torsion spring, one end of the torsion spring is fixedly connected to the first clamping plate, the other end of the torsion spring is fixed to the second clamping plate, the straight-strip-shaped steel bars are clamped through the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate, the straight-strip-shaped steel bars can be better fixed, a coiled steel bar can be conveniently wound around the outer side of a cylindrical structure formed by the straight-strip-shaped steel bars, and thus forming of a reinforcement cage is facilitated.
