The invention discloses a multifunctional pedestrian warning device comprising a base; a stand column is welded to the outer wall of the top of the base, universal wheels are fixed to the four corners of the outer wall of the bottom of the base through screws, a same battery column is clamped to the outer walls of the two sides of the stand column, and supports are welded to the two sides of the outer wall of the bottom of the battery column; a solar cell panel is welded to the end, away from the stand column, of the support, a clamping groove is formed in the outer wall of one side of the battery column, a displayer is clamped to the inner wall of the clamping groove, a propaganda box is fixed to the outer wall of the side, close to the displayer, of the battery column through screws, and a piece taking opening is formed in the outer wall of the side, close to the displayer, of the propaganda box. Traditional external power supply is replaced by solar power generation, energy conservation and environmental protection are achieved, movement is facilitated through cooperation of the universal wheels, and pedestrians can be intercepted through cooperation of a handrail, an infrared sensor and a probe; meanwhile, an alarm gives an early warning to vehicles, and the propaganda box and the displayer play a role in propagandizing safety knowledge and improving the safety awareness of the pedestrians crossing a road.
