The invention provides a submerged arc furnace for producing macrocrystalline fused magnesite. The submerged arc furnace comprises a furnace barrel device, a feeding device and a flue gas collecting device, the feeding device and the flue gas collecting device are connected with a furnace cover of the furnace barrel device, and the flue gas collecting device preheats materials in the feeding device by using flue gas. According to the submerged arc furnace, the flue gas of the submerged arc furnace for macrocrystalline fused magnesite is recycled, and raw materials are preheated by utilizing flue gas waste heat; in the production process, natural magnesite powder can be pre-decomposed by high-temperature flue gas, most CO2 gas is released in advance, and the adding proportion is increased; and automatic feeding can be realized through flue gas temperature monitoring.
