The invention relates to the field of building curtain walls, and particularly relates to a hidden frame cross beam structure and a mounting method. The hidden frame cross beam structure comprises a cross beam, mounting sleeve cores and a mounting template, wherein elastic mounting pieces are arranged on the mounting sleeve cores; the mounting sleeve cores are preassembled at the two ends of the cross beam; the mounting template is provided with a notch and is preassembled on a stand column; the mounting of the cross beam is guided through the notch; and a mounting hole is formed in the stand column and corresponds to the elastic mounting pieces. According to the hidden frame cross beam structure and the mounting method, the elastic mounting pieces and the mounting sleeve cores are preassembled, so that the complicated mounting process that bolts and the like are influenced by a narrow closed space during mounting of the cross beam is simplified, and the mounting and positioning efficiency of the cross beam is higher; and meanwhile, the mounting sleeve cores avoid the arrangement of a full-length fixing structure in the cross beam, so that consumables are reduced, the torsion resistance is improved, the operation is more convenient during field mounting, and the mounting efficiency and quality can be remarkably improved.
