The invention discloses a prefabricated groove-shaped concrete pier structure and a construction method thereof. The prefabricated groove-shaped concrete pier structure comprises a pier body, a cover beam and a bearing platform are arranged at the top end and the bottom end of the pier body respectively, and the top end and the bottom end of the pier body are connected with the cover beam and the bearing platform through connecting pieces respectively; the construction method comprises the steps that firstly, the flange plates and the middle partition plates are prefabricated in blocks in a prefabrication factory; secondly, the two ends of the middle partition plate are coated with bonding layers, and the flange plates and the middle partition plate are spliced on site; thirdly, the connecting steel bars are tensioned, so that the flange plates and the middle partition plates are connected to form an integral bridge pier body; and fourthly, the bridge pier body is hoisted and connected with the bent cap and the bearing platform through the connecting pieces. The total material consumption of the pier can be saved; by means of the application, the weight of each component is very small, and prefabrication, transportation and hoisting of the components are facilitated.
