The invention discloses a sea area pipeline turning section connection construction method, and relates to the technical field of sea pipeline laying engineering. The method comprises the following steps of digging a seabed groove according to a design axis of a sea area pipeline turning section; transporting a three-way pipe and welding equipment to a sinking site of the sea area pipeline turning section, and welding the three-way pipe to the top of the sea area pipeline turning section; preparing a steel floating box; fixing sea area pipeline linear sections on the two sides to a cross beam; filling the sea area pipeline linear sections on the front side and the rear side of the sea area pipeline turning section with gas to enable the sea area pipeline linear sections to emerge from the water surface, then dragging one end of each sea area pipeline linear section and one end of the sea area pipeline turning section to the steel floating box, and connecting a pipeline and the steel floating box into a whole; and controlling floating of a steel pipe by controlling the water injection amount in the steel floating box, performing sinking through a water injection method to enable the pipeline to be stably sunken into the pre-dug groove, and finally, sealing the three-way pipe through diving. The method is simple and reliable, a safe and stable operation environment is built on the sea, the welding quality is good, the construction period is short, and the construction cost is low.
