The invention discloses a tuned particle mass damping device based on suspension, and relates to the technical field of damping vibration attenuation. The tuned particle mass damping device comprises a mass system, a stiffness system and a damping system which are arranged in a shell; the mass system at least comprises a particle mass block; the stiffness system is a suspender or a sling, and the mass system can swing in the shell by taking the suspender or the sling as a swing rod or a swing rope; the damping system involves a damper and a collision damping support, wherein the collision damping support is arranged on the swing stroke of the mass system and can horizontally limit swinging of the mass system, and the collision damping support comprises a support and a viscous-elastic material layer, wherein the viscous-elastic material layer is arranged on the inner side of the support and is vertically arranged in the shell to receive collision of the mass system. According to the damping device, a hybrid vibration attenuation mechanism is good in vibration attenuation and energy consumption effect, wide in vibration attenuation frequency band and good in sensitivity, the continuous frequency adjustment can be achieved, and the adjustment is convenient and easy.
