The invention relates to a formwork for construction of an independent column, a formwork system and a construction method. The formwork comprises a formwork body, wherein a plurality of secondary back edges are fixed to the outer side face of the formwork body. The formwork further comprises a plurality of reinforcing pieces, and the plurality of reinforcing pieces are fixed to the outer side faces of the secondary back edges; and each reinforcing piece comprises a fixed part and a telescopic part arranged at one end of the fixed part, wherein the other end of the fixed part can allow the telescopic part to penetrate through, the telescopic part is connected with the fixed part in a telescopic mode, and limiting holes used for allowing limiting pieces to be inserted are formed in the end of the fixed part and the telescopic part. The formwork system is high in construction efficiency and short in construction period.
