The fence comprises a hollow chain type fabricated support and a protection device, the hollow chain type fabricated support structurally comprises an upper-layer chain plate and a lower-layer chain plate, and the upper-layer chain plate and the lower-layer chain plate are the same in structure; each chain plate comprises a plurality of outer chain plates and a plurality of inner chain plates which are alternately connected, the outer chain plates and the inner chain plates are connected together to form a ring shape, and the outer chain plates and the inner chain plates of the upper-layer chain plate are connected with the outer chain plates and the inner chain plates of the lower-layer chain plate through a plurality of connecting mechanisms; and the protection device comprises a plurality of protection units, each protection unit comprises a protection net and two stand columns connected with the protection net, the bottoms of two adjacent stand columns of two adjacent protection units are inserted into the same connecting mechanism, and the plurality of protection units are sequentially inserted to form the fence.
