The invention discloses a safety supporting device for bridge construction. The device comprises a bottom plate, a hydraulic pump is arranged on the bottom plate, hydraulic lifting columns are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the bottom plate, a top plate is arranged on the telescopic ends of the hydraulic lifting columns, first connecting rods are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the bottom of the top plate, and lower studs are rotatably arranged on the first connecting rods; second connecting rods are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the bottom plate; upper studs are rotationally arranged on the second connecting rods; and connecting sleeves are arranged between the lower studs and the upper studs. A constructor can move the whole device to the position below a bearing column, operate the hydraulic pump and convey hydraulic oil into the hydraulic lifting column through an oil conveying pipe, so that the hydraulic lifting column can be extended, and the top plate is tightly attached to the bearing column for preliminary supporting; and after the directions of the lower stud and the upper stud are adjusted, the lower stud and the upper stud are connected through the connecting sleeve, and the top plate can be supported, so that the supporting effect of the top plate on the bearing column is enhanced.
