The invention relates to an artificial stratum freezing method utilizing low-temperature carbon dioxide for cyclic refrigeration. The method includes the steps of providing freezing pipes, and driving the freezing pipes into an area needing freezing construction in a stratum; providing a liquid carbon dioxide supply device, communicating the liquid carbon dioxide supply device with all the freezing pipes to form a first circulation loop, and continuously feeding liquid carbon dioxide into the freezing pipes through the liquid carbon dioxide supply device, wherein the liquid carbon dioxide in the freezing pipes is used for freezing a soil body around the freezing pipes so as to complete freezing construction of a corresponding area in the stratum. According to the artificial stratum freezing method utilizing low-temperature carbon dioxide for cyclic refrigeration, carbon dioxide can be recycled, so that the method is more economical and practical, and efficient freezing under the same cost is achieved.
