The invention discloses an open type double-layer curtain wall system. The open type double-layer curtain wall system comprises an inner curtain wall main body, an outer curtain wall main body and a telescopic frame; the inner curtain wall main body is connected with the outer curtain wall main body; the telescopic frame is connected between the inner curtain wall main body and the outer curtain wall main body; first notches are formed in the corresponding sides of the inner curtain wall main body and the outer curtain wall main body; and meanwhile, an adjusting mechanism is arranged in each first notch. By arranging the adjusting mechanisms, a rotary knob can be pulled out of the outer curtain wall body and is located in the outer curtain wall body at ordinary times, and use is not affected; the rotary knob can drive a limiting shaft to rotate, so that a first driving bevel gear and a first driven bevel gear are driven to rotate, then a lead screw is driven to rotate, and a connecting block drives a supporting rod to move on the lead screw; and therefore, the distance between the inner curtain wall main body and the outer curtain wall main body is adjusted, and better use feeling can be obtained according to different use requirements.
