The invention discloses a lifting mechanism. The lifting mechanism comprises a bracket, a driving unit, a drum, a fixed pulley, a carrying disc, a movable pulley and lifting ropes, wherein the driving unit is arranged on the bracket; the drum is arranged on the bracket and is connected with the driving unit; the fixed pulley is arranged on the bracket; the carrying disc is used for carrying a lifted object; the movable pulley is arranged on the carrying disc; one end of each lifting rope is a traction end, the other end of each lifting rope is a fixed end, and the traction end is wound on the drum; the fixed end bypasses the fixed pulley and the movable pulley in sequence and then is connected with the bracket; an included angle is formed between the projection of the part, which is located between the traction end and the fixed pulley, of each lifting rope in the horizontal plane and the first direction; and projections of the fixed pulley and the movable pulley in the horizontal plane coincide, and the lifting ropes which are located between the fixed pulley and the movable pulley extend in the vertical direction. According to the lifting mechanism, the lifting ropes can be orderly arranged on the drum, so that the lifting sections of the lifting ropes are kept in the vertical direction, and accidents caused by disordered ropes or shaking of the lifting ropes are prevented. The invention further provides a stereo garage.
