The invention discloses a reinforcing member for a building light wood structure. The reinforcing member comprises a beam body; a through groove is formed in the beam body; a connecting plate penetrates through the through groove; a column body is fixedly connected with the bottom of the connecting plate; and a groove body is formed in the column body. According to the reinforcing member for the building light wood structure, after a gear rotates anticlockwise, by arranging a first convex block and a second convex block, the gear can drive the first convex block to extrude the second convex block through a rack and a movable plate; a first groove and a second groove are formed in the beam body, so that a T-shaped plate can drive an insertion block to be pulled out of the second groove under the action of the second convex block; through the arrangement of a spring, the T-shaped plate can drive the insertion block to be inserted into the second groove under the action of the spring when no external force is applied to the T-shaped plate; and through the arrangement, the wood structure is provided with the member for fixing and reinforcing a beam column connecting joint, so that the stability of a wood structure beam column after installation is improved.
