The invention discloses a using method of a scaffold steel pipe perpendicular butt joint auxiliary device. The using method comprises the following steps that a bottom layer scaffold operation platform which perpendicular steel pipes need to be in butt joint is built; the butt joint auxiliary device is fixed to the auxiliary steel pipes; one of the transversely arranged steel pipes (guardrails) of the operation platform is perpendicularly fixed on the auxiliary steel pipes by using right-angle fasteners; the to-be-butted steel pipes are installed by using the butt joint auxiliary device, and a the butting device between the two butted steel pipes is tightened; the right-angle fasteners are dismantled, the auxiliary steel pipes are lowered, and finally, the butt joint auxiliary device and the butt-jointed steel pipes are disconnected, and the whole butt-joint operation is completed after the butt joint auxiliary device and the butt-jointed steel pipe are separated. According to the using method of the scaffold steel pipe perpendicular butt joint auxiliary device, the two scaffold steel pipes can be safely, conveniently and perpendicularly butt-jointed together through the butt joint device, the steel pipes on the upper portion can be prevented from toppling over in the operation process, the operation intensity of operators is greatly reduced, and the operation efficiency and the safety coefficient are improved.
