The invention discloses a composite floor slab for a building and a construction method of the composite floor slab. The composite floor slab for the building comprises a prefabricated concrete slab, a cast-in-place concrete slab and a prefabricated cement fiberboard, wherein each of two opposite side surfaces of the prefabricated concrete slab is provided with one or a plurality of L-shaped steel sheets; the horizontal parts of the L-shaped steel sheets are built in the prefabricated concrete slab; U-shaped grooves with upward openings are formed in the vertical parts of the L-shaped steel sheets; one or a plurality of through grooves A which are transversely or longitudinally arranged are formed in the upper slab surface of the cast-in-place concrete slab; through grooves B matched with the through grooves A in the cast-in-place concrete slab are formed in the bottom surface of the cement fiberboard; water and electricity pipelines are arranged in a cavity formed by the through grooves A and the through grooves B; outwards protruding built-in screws 14 are respectively arranged on the two side surfaces, attached to the vertical parts of the L-shaped steel sheets, of the cement fiberboard; and the screws penetrate through the U-shaped grooves and are in threaded connection with nuts 11.
