The invention belongs to the technical field of engineering building materials, and particularly relates to a cement-based coating and a preparation method thereof. The cement-based coating is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 35-40 parts of PW.52.5 white cement, 35-40 parts of ground quartz sand, 6-8 parts of PTB emulsion, 2-4 parts of nano carbon nitride, 8-16 parts of fluorescent powder and 16-18 parts of water. According to the invention, the cement-based material is used as a matrix, and the finely ground quartz sand and the PTB emulsion are added, so that the wear resistance, the cohesiveness and the waterproof performance of the coating can be enhanced, and the service life of the coating is prolonged to a certain extent; and meanwhile, the nano carbon nitride and the fluorescent powder are added, so that the coating is endowed with the properties of self-continuous luminescence, visible light catalytic gas purification and self-cleaning. The coating only needs to be brushed by 1-5 mm in actual engineering application, the construction process is simple, the construction period is short, the construction efficiency can be greatly improved, the cost is reduced, and the application prospect is wide.
