The invention discloses an intelligent fire hydrant based on the Internet of things technology in the technical field of intelligent fire hydrants. The intelligent fire hydrant comprises a fire hydrant body, wherein the right side wall of the fire hydrant body communicates with a rectangular protective shell, a rectangular sealing sleeve is fixedly connected to the inner side wall of the rectangular protective shell, and a rectangular sliding plate is slidably connected to the inner side wall of the rectangular protective shell. According to the intelligent fire hydrant, when water in the fire hydrant body is condensed due to the low temperature in winter, a positioning plate is separated from the positioning rectangular sliding plate by utilizing a heat conducting piece, so that the rectangular sliding plate can slide in the rectangular protective shell; and then the rectangular sliding plate is extruded by utilizing the volume expansion during water condensation, so that the rectangular sliding plate moves towards the right side, the pressure extruded on a pressure detection rod is released, the phenomenon that the pressure detection rod is damaged due to the fact that the water continues to condense and expand to extrude the pressure detection rod is avoided, and a pressure sensor cannot be damaged when the interior of the fire hydrant body is frozen in winter.
