The invention discloses an intelligent fire hydrant based on the Internet of Things technology. The fire hydrant comprises a shell; a water passing cavity is formed in the shell; a protection shell is fixedly arranged on the top face of the shell; a rotating shaft extending upwards is rotationally arranged in the water passing cavity and vertically penetrates through the top wall of the water passing cavity; a ball valve is fixedly arranged at the bottom end of the rotating shaft; a left water outlet pipe is fixedly arranged on the left side face of the shell; a right water outlet pipe is fixedly arranged on the right side face of the shell; a foundation is fixedly arranged on the lower side of the shell; the top face of the foundation is fixed to the ground of the shell; a water pipe is fixedly arranged in the foundation; and a leakage detection mechanism is slidably arranged in the water passing cavity and comprises a leakage detection circular ring. By arranging a pressure detection mechanism, information can be fed back to a fire station in time when water pressure in the fire hydrant is insufficient, and by arranging the leakage detection mechanism, the fire station can remotely monitor the condition in the fire hydrant at any time.
