The invention discloses a seepage prevention method for sealing a large underground cavern by adopting advanced grouting. The seepage prevention method mainly involves a vertical seepage prevention layer, a top seepage prevention layer, a bottom seepage prevention layer and a grouting gallery for constructing the seepage prevention layers. The grouting gallery is constructed in advance before the large underground cavern is excavated, the annular sealed vertical seepage prevention layer is constructed around the underground cavern, the top seepage prevention layer and the bottom seepage prevention layer are constructed at the upper part and the lower part, and the adjacent seepage prevention layers are tightly connected, so that the aims of sealing surrounding rock masses in advance and reducing the water seepage amount of the large underground cavern in a construction period and an operation period are achieved. According to the seepage prevention method, the annular sealed vertical seepage prevention layer is formed on the surrounding rock masses of the large cavern in advance before the large cavern is excavated, and is combined with the top seepage prevention layer and the bottom seepage prevention layer to seal the surrounding rock masses in advance, so that the water seepage of surrounding rocks is reduced, the engineering safety is guaranteed, and the influence on the underground water environment is reduced.
