The invention provides a road roller control system which can provide various working modes including an economic mode and an efficient mode, and according to the selected working mode, an engine controller and a hydraulic controller respectively control the operation rotating speed of an engine and the motor displacement of a hydraulic system. Wherein the engine rotating speed in the economic mode is lower than the engine rotating speed in the efficient mode, the motor displacement in the economic mode is lower than the motor displacement in the efficient mode, and the ratio of the motor displacement of the hydraulic system to the running rotating speed of the engine is constant. Thus, according to the working requirements of the road roller, the working mode meeting the requirements can be selected, and when the required load is low, the low engine rotating speed and the low motor displacement are selected, so that resource waste is avoided, and the working cost of the road roller is reduced.
