The gear shifting system comprises a base, a rotating shaft, an operating rod anda signal conversion device, wherein the base comprises a first vertical plate and a second vertical plate which are oppositely arranged in a spaced mode, and mounting holes are formed in the first vertical plate and the second vertical plate respectively; the two ends of the rotating shaft are rotatably mounted in the two mounting holes respectively; the operating rod is fixedly connected with the rotating shaft and comprises a plurality of strip-shaped steel plates which are connected in a stacked mode; and the signal conversion device comprises a detection element, and the detection elementis connected with the base and is used for detecting the rotating angle of the rotating shaft. During gear shifting, only the operating rod needs to be moved, and the operating rod does not directlydrive a load, so that labor is saved during operation; and the system is simple in overall structure and convenient to machine and assemble.
