The cushion block comprises five surfaces, namely a first inclined surface, a second plane, a third vertical surface, a fourth vertical surface and a fifth vertical surface, wherein the first inclined surface, the second plane and the third vertical surface are rectangular; the fourth vertical surface and the fifth vertical surface are triangular; and grooves with anti-skid effects are formed in the first inclined surface and the second plane respectively. The cushion block comprises the following materials: Portland cement, coal ash, water, machine-made aggregate and a water reducing agent (the mixing ratio is 1: (0.25-0.3): (0.5-0.7): (2.70-4.00): (0.01-0.05). According to the cushion block for the fabricated wallboard and the assembly method of the fabricated wallboard, the cushion block is simple in structure, energy-saving, environment-friendly, light in weight, high in strength (the mass of each cushion block is 100-300g, and the strength is 30-80mpa) and high in construction efficiency, the labor cost is saved, the defects of a wooden wedge cushion block during construction can be effectively improved or solved, the assembly quality is improved, and the assembly speed is increased. The cushion block is used for wallboard installation.
