A riverway sludge cleaning device comprises a barrel body and a flat plate; four supporting columns are installed on the barrel body; a discharging pipe is installed on the barrel body in a communicating mode; and a valve used for controlling sludge discharging is installed on the discharging pipe. By arranging a first motor, a first rotating shaft, a second rotating shaft, a first gear, a chain, a circular plate and a smashing head, the smashing head can smash large sludge blocks, so that the sludge cannot block a pipeline; by arranging a second motor, a third rotating shaft and a scraper, the motor can be started to control the scraper to rotate; the scraper can scrape the sludge; by arranging a moving plate, a spring, a moving plate, a cam, a rack, a second gear, a fixing rod, a second water pump, a water pipe and a spray head, the water pump is started to spray water from the spray head; cleaning operation is facilitated; the spray head can rotate in a reciprocating mode; and a larger spraying area can be achieved.
