The ladder comprises two ladder bodies; treading mechanisms are arranged at the ends, close to each other, of the inner sides of the two ladder bodies correspondingly; sliding grooves are formed in the left ends and the right ends of the two ladder bodies correspondingly; sliding blocks are slidably connected to the interiors of the two sliding grooves correspondingly; and each treading mechanism internally comprises a first fixed block, a bearing block, a first connecting block, a first cylinder, a first fixed rod, a first rolling shaft and a second fixed block. Through the arrangement of the second fixed blocks, when the treading mechanisms are treaded through the gravity of a person, the second fixed blocks arranged on the two sides can stretch out of the two sides of the first fixed block due to the gravity, and a plane for the foot sole of a worker is enlarged, so that the possibility of falling is reduced; the friction force of the foot sole can be increased through an anti-skid device, so that the phenomenon of slipping of the foot sole is reduced; and the first fixed rods are returned through elastic ropes when no pressure exists at the tops of the bearing blocks.
