The invention relates to composite ceramic with a honeycomb fiber structure. The composite ceramic comprises a cell wall and cell bodies, wherein the cell wall is divided into a plurality of compartments; the compartments are filled with the cell bodies; and the cell wall is made of high-toughness ceramic, and the cell bodies are made of high-strength ceramic. The preparation method comprises the following steps: high-strength ceramic slurry and high-toughness ceramic slurry are prepared; a paraffin core is inserted into a casting mold for occupying, high-strength ceramic slurry is injected into the casting mold, after the high-strength ceramic slurry is solidified, heating is conducted to enable the paraffin core to be melted and flow out, and the cell wall and the compartments defined by the cell wall are formed; high-toughness ceramic slurry is injected into the casting mold to fill the spaces of the compartments, and the high-toughness ceramic slurry is cured to obtain a wet green body with a honeycomb structure; and pressing treatment and sintering treatment are conducted on the wet green body with the honeycomb structure to obtain the composite ceramic with the honeycomb fiber structure. Compared with the prior art, the composite ceramic has the advantages of good ceramic structure controllability, high strength, good toughness, high light transmittance, no aging and the like.
