The invention provides a B4C-TiB2/BN layered ceramic material and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of layered ceramic material preparation. The layered ceramic material is formed by sequentially and alternately overlapping B4C-TiB2 layers and BN layers, and the BN layers are located between the two B4C-TiB2 layers. According to the invention, the B4C-TiB2 layer is used as the matrix layer, the BN layer is used as the weak interface layer, and the fracture toughness is greatly improved while high strength of the whole material is maintained through a plurality of toughening modes such as crack deflection toughening of the weak interface layer, residual compressive stress toughening of the matrix layer and microcrack toughening, so that the material has good impact resistance.
