The invention discloses a method for firing ceramsite by using textile sludge and shield mud, which solves the problem of environmental pollution caused by spoil such as the textile sludge and the shield mud. The prepared product is green and environment-friendly and has high added value. The production process comprises the steps of 1, pretreating the textile sludge and the shield mud; 2, drying the pretreated textile sludge and shield sludge; and 3, mixing and preparing the dried textile sludge, shield mud and an additive. 4, extruding the mixed material into a blank; and 5, sintering the ceramsite blank in a kiln. According to the invention, the light ceramsite is fired by taking the textile sludge and the shield mud as main raw materials. The environment pollution caused by the industrial waste residues and the sludge is solved, resource utilization of the industrial waste residues and the sludge is achieved, clay needed by traditional ceramsite preparation is replaced, land resources are effectively protected, and meanwhile, the preparation cost is reduced. The fired light ceramsite has the characteristics of low water absorption, high fire resistance, small density, high strength, convenience in hanging, high construction speed, good heat insulation effect and the like.
