The modified asphalt concrete is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 20-25 parts of matrix asphalt; 5-10 parts of a modifier; 40 -50 parts of filler; 300 -400 parts of aggregate; 5-10 parts of a fiber filler; 2-4 parts of polyethylene wax; 3-8 parts of monodisperse silicon dioxide microspheres; and 0.5-1 part of a coupling agent. The modified asphalt concrete disclosed by the invention has relatively good high-temperature rutting resistance and low-temperature cracking resistance.
