The invention provides a regenerated carbon-free brick and a preparation method thereof. The regenerated carbon-free brick provided by the invention is prepared from raw materials; the raw materials comprise a base material and an additive. The base material comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 40wt%-60wt% of an outer ring castable reclaimed material; 10 wt% to 45 wt% of tabular corundum particles; 10 wt% to 20 wt% of a premix; the additive comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 5wt%-7wt% of a binding agent, 2 wt%-5 wt% of water; wherein the premix comprises aluminum powder, silicon carbide powder, white corundum, activated aluminum oxide micro powder and silicon micro powder. According to the invention, 40wt%-60wt% of the outer ring castable reclaimed material is used for replacing a raw material and is matched with the tabular corundum, the premix with a certain composition, the binding agent and the water according to a certain proportion, so that compared with a raw material type carbon-free brick, the use performance and the comprehensive performance can be ensured to be higher than those of an existing magnesia-chrome brick product, and the production cost is reduced.
