The invention provides a lattice type angle steel tower main material reinforcing device and a reinforcing method thereof. The upper end and the lower end of main material angle steel are each provided with a conversion bearing platform; each conversion bearing platform is composed of a steel plate; the plane of each steel plate is perpendicular to the length direction of the main material angle steel; a reinforcing piece round steel is connected between the upper conversion bearing platform and the lower conversion bearing platform; the axial direction of the reinforcing piece round steel is parallel to the length direction of the main material angle steel; the upper side of the upper conversion bearing platform and the lower side of the lower conversion bearing platform are each connected with a reinforcing component splicing piece; each reinforcing component splicing piece is composed of angle steel or a right-angle-shaped bent steel plate; the reinforcing component splicing pieces are perpendicular to the upper conversion bearing platform and the lower conversion bearing platform; and the reinforcing component splicing pieces are connected with main material splicing plates or splicing angle steel and the main material angle steel through bolts. According to the lattice type angle steel tower main material reinforcing device and the reinforcing method thereof, under the condition that an original tower body main material is completely free of damage, the net sectional area of the original tower body main material is increased through the reinforcing piece round steel, and the bearing capacity of an angle steel tower can be effectively improved.
