The invention discloses a lattice type steel tube tower main material reinforcing device and a reinforcing method thereof. A steel tube tower main material is a main material circular tube containing two flange joints, a reinforcing piece comprises an upper end conversion bearing platform and a lower end conversion bearing platform which are composed of two arc-shaped or plate-shaped metal pieces, the two sets of arc-shaped or plate-shaped metal pieces are symmetrically connected to the flange joints at the two ends of the main material circular tube through long screws correspondingly, the corresponding sides of the arc-shaped or plate-shaped metal pieces in the upper end conversion bearing platform and the lower end conversion bearing platform are provided with an upper support and a lower support correspondingly, the upper end and the lower end of reinforcing material angle steel are fixedly connected to the upper support and the lower support through bolts correspondingly, and the symmetrical reinforcing material angle steel is connected with the main material circular tube through a main material hoop in the length direction. Under the condition that an original tower body main material is completely lossless, that is, no rear hole is formed, and no welding is conducted, the net sectional area of the main material circular tube is increased through the symmetrical reinforcing material angle steel, and the bearing capacity of the steel tube tower main material can be effectively improved.
