The invention discloses a vertical greening system for a high-rise office building. The vertical greening system is characterized by comprising a plurality of upper supporting guide rails and a plurality of lower supporting guide rails which are connected end to end and are arranged outside a building facade of the high-rise office building in a surrounding manner; the upper supporting guide rails and the lower supporting guide rails are arranged up and down in parallel at intervals; a lower supporting guide rail is arranged between every two vertically adjacent upper supporting guide rails; one upper supporting guide rail and one lower supporting guide rail located below the upper supporting guide rail form a supporting guide rail set; one supporting guide rail set is arranged outside the building facade of each floor of the high-rise office building; and a vertical greening module is arranged between the upper supporting guide rail and the lower supporting guide rail in each supporting guide rail set and can horizontally rotate along the outside of the building facade of the high-rise office building. The vertical greening system for the high-rise office building has the advantages that the positions of the vertical greening modules can be adjusted according to irradiation of sunlight on facades in different directions of the high-rise office building at different time points, so that limited plants have efficient sun-shading and heat-insulating effects on the building.
