Asphalt concrete and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the field of asphalt concrete, in particular to asphalt concrete and a preparation method thereof. The asphalt concrete comprises the following components in parts by weight: 7 to 13 parts of modified SBS asphalt, 0.5 to 0.7 part of fly ash, 0.9 to 1.3 parts of basalt fibers, 20 to 35 parts of limestone, 6 to 12 parts of steel slag and 0.1 to 0.3 part of an anti-rut agent. A preparation method of the steel slag comprises the following steps: removing magnetic impurities from waste steel slag blocks, conducting screening, and collecting steel slag with a particle size of more than 5 mm; hammering the steel slag with the particle size of greater than 5 mm, removing magnetic impurities, and conducting screening to collect steel slag with a particle size of greater than 5 mm; and collecting the steel slag with the particle size of larger than 5 mm through water washing, and conducting screening to obtain steel slag with particle sizes of 5-10 mm, 10-12 mm and 12-16 mm respectively. The limestone, the fly ash and the basalt fibers in the asphalt concrete have a synergistic effect, so the advantage of improving the durability of the concrete is obtained.
