The regenerated insulation material comprises coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, sandstone, portland cement and a foaming agent, wherein the coarse aggregate is particles which are formed by crushing waste polystyrene foam boards and have the diameter greater than 5mm, the fine aggregate is particles which are screened by grinding waste concrete blocks and have the diameter smaller than 5 mm, the portland cement, the fine aggregate and the sandstone are mixed with water according to the proportion of 7:2:1 so as to prepare an outer wear-resistant material, and the portland cement, the coarse aggregate and the fine aggregate are mixed with water according to the proportion of 7:1:2 so as to prepare a light insulation material through foaming of the foaming agent. According to the preparation method of the regenerated insulation material suitable for the masonry, waste concrete is used as the fine aggregate so as to prepare the outer wear-resistant material and the light insulation material, and waste polystyrene foam particles are used as the coarse aggregate so as to prepare the light insulation material, so that the waste concrete and the waste polystyrene foam board are utilized, and the influence of waste materials on the environment is reduced.
