The invention discloses a direct drinking water pipe network tail end metering device and a direct drinking water circulating pipe network. The direct drinking water pipe network tail end metering device comprises a metering body, a partition component, a first chamber, a second chamber, a metering component and a controller; the partition component is arranged in the metering body so as to divide the metering body into the first chamber and the second chamber which are independent from each other; the first chamber is used for being connected to a water supply pipe; the second chamber is used for being connected to a water return pipe; the metering component is arranged in the metering body and is used for respectively metering the water flow corresponding to the water supply pipe and the water return pipe; and the controller is arranged in the metering body, is in communication connection with the metering part, and can obtain the water consumption of a user according to the difference between the water flow value of the water supply pipe and the water flow value of the water return pipe, which are transmitted by the metering part. The problem that dead water exists in direct drinking water after the metering device is connected in the prior art is solved.
