The invention provides stuffing sand for clean steel production and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of metallurgical refractory materials. According to the stuffing sand, silicon carbide particles with the average particle size of 50-500 micrometers are used as raw materials and roasted at the temperature of 1100-1650 DEG C, and particles with the component of a SiC-SiO2 coating structure are formed after roasting. The roasted particles are uniformly mixed with 1-20 parts by weight of medium-carbon or high-carbon graphite to form the SiC-SiO2-C composite stuffing sand. SiC is used for supporting the whole particle structure when making contact with high-temperature molten steel, SiO2 reacts with the molten steel to form a top sintering layer, and graphite C plays a lubricating role during casting. The stuffing sand provided by the invention has the advantages of simple components, loose particles and high self-opening rate, SiC and graphite can be further deoxidized after entering a molten steel bath, and production of high-quality clean steel is facilitated.
本发明提供一种洁净钢生产用引流砂及其制备方法,属于冶金耐火材料技术领域。该引流砂以平均粒径为50~500微米的碳化硅颗粒为原料,在1100~1650℃之间进行焙烧,焙烧后形成成分为SiC‑SiO2包覆结构的颗粒。按重量份数计,将焙烧后的颗粒与1~20份的中碳或高碳石墨混匀形成SiC‑SiO2‑C复合引流砂。其中SiC在与高温钢液接触时用于支撑整体颗粒结构,SiO2与钢液反应形成顶层烧结层,石墨C在开浇时起到润滑作用。本发明提供的引流砂具有成分简单、颗粒松散和自开率高的优点,SiC和石墨进入钢液熔池后可进一步脱氧,有利于高品质洁净钢的生产。
