本发明提出一种车辆电控开门控制方法及系统，其根据开门意图识别，识别用户有开门意图，然后综合判断门锁的解闭锁状态信号，若车门已经解锁，则可控制开门机构棘爪电机逆时针转动；开门机构状态为微开状态后开始计时，超过T1时间，依然为微开状态，不为全开状态，则控制开门机构棘爪电机顺时针转动回位，若T1时间内开门机构为全开状态，则立即控制开门机构棘爪电机顺时针转动回位。当开门机构棘爪顺利回位后，车门可正常关闭。采用以上方法和系统，可以使用户可用较小的力量直接拉动或推动车门打开，开门省力，操作方便。
