The invention discloses an LNG storage tank dome structure and a construction method. The LNG storage tank dome structure comprises a concrete surface layer, concrete beams, an inner film upper plate, an inner film lower plate, side plates and heat preservation materials. The concrete beams comprise ring beams and longitudinal beams, and the ring beams and the longitudinal beams intersect with each other to form annular abreast cavity areas; the inner film lower plate and the inner film upper plate are correspondingly located at the bottoms and the tops of the cavity areas, the cavity areas are filled with the heat preservation materials, the side plates are arranged between the heat preservation materials and the inner walls of the cavity areas, the concrete surface layer and the concrete beams are of an integrated frame structure, and the concrete surface layer covers the top face and the bottom face of the whole dome. The cast-in-place concrete beam and a prefabricated concrete hollow inner formwork are combined, and different from a conventional beam-free plate shell cast-in-place concrete dome structure, the LNG storage tank dome structure has the advantages of being stable in structure, good in heat preservation performance, short in engineering period and the like.
