The invention discloses a building material composite waterproof agent and a preparation method thereof. The waterproof agent comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 3-12% of hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 0.9-1.7% of a curing agent, 4-8% of an emulsifier, 0.4-1.15% of a catalyst dibutyltin dilaurate, 55-68% of cement and the balance of water. The preparation method of the waterproof agent comprises the following steps: weighing the hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, the tetraethyl silicate and the dibutyltin dilaurate according to the proportion, adding into a stirring container, quickly performing stirring for 1-2 minutes to form a transparent jelly, and standing for 1-3 minutes; weighing water, span 80 and cement, adding water, span 80 and cement into the other stirring container, and rapidly performing stirring for 1-3 minutes; adding the prepared transparent jelly into the stirring container, and continuously performing stirring for 1-2 minutes. The waterproof agent disclosed by the invention is good in waterproof effect, stable in property and long in service life; the preparation method of the waterproof agent is simple and easy to operate.
