The invention discloses a glass-ceramic composite brick and a preparation method thereof. Glass-ceramic frits are distributed on the surface of a ceramic body, a ceramic ink-jet pattern layer is printed on the surfaces of the glass-ceramic frits, and a layer of transparent frit dry particles covers the ceramic ink-jet pattern layer. The glass-ceramic frit is a CaO-SiO2 system microcrystalline glass-ceramic frit with wollastonite as a main microcrystalline phase, and the glass-ceramic composite brick prepared by the invention not only has excellent physical properties such as relatively high strength, hardness and toughness, but also is rich in pattern color and natural in texture, can replace natural stone to be widely applied to places such as floors and walls of buildings, has high artistic and aesthetic value, is produced in one step by combining with an ink-jet printing technology, and has the advantages of high efficiency, energy conservation, simplicity in operation and the like.
