The invention relates to a block copolymer, an asphalt composition and a modified asphalt mixture. A block copolymer (P) contains a polymer block (a) mainly composed of a vinyl aromatic monomer unit and a polymer block (b) containing a conjugated diene monomer unit and a vinyl aromatic monomer unit, and satisfies the following requirements (1) to (6): (1) the mass ratio TS of the vinyl aromatic monomer unit is 20-45 mass%; (2) the mass ratio BS of (a) is 15-35 mass%; (3) the viscosity of the 5 mass% toluene solution is 5-40 mPa.s; (4) the nitrogen content is 20 to 1000 ppm; (5) a block copolymer (C) contains two or more structures of (a), and the mass ratio of (C) is 50-100 mass%; and (6) the mass ratio (RS) of the vinyl aromatic monomer units in the polymer block (b) as calculated by following formula is 3-23 mass%.
