The invention discloses an anchoring type split connecting piece and a mounting method thereof. The anchoring type split connecting piece comprises a stress main rib, reinforced anchoring sleeve caps and a plastic lantern ring. A main body structure of the stress main rib is cylindrical, and the two ends of the stress main rib are of elastic lock structures. The reinforced anchoring sleeve caps are each in a circular truncated cone shape and are arranged at the two ends of the stress main rib in a sleeving manner through the elastic lock structures so as to reinforce the mechanical meshing effect between the connecting piece and a concrete wallboard, and the anchoring force of the anchoring type split connecting piece is improved. The plastic lantern ring is arranged in the middle of the stress main rib in a sleeving manner, one end of the plastic lantern ring is provided with a plastic baffle, and threads are engraved outside the plastic lantern ring. The anchoring type split connecting piece is used for connecting an inner concrete wallboard, an outer concrete wallboard and a middle heat insulation layer of a prefabricated composite wall together. During use, the two ends of the stress main rib and the reinforced anchoring sleeve caps are located in the inner and outer concrete wallboards respectively, and the plastic lantern ring is located in the heat insulation layer.
