The invention discloses an on-site wet connection construction method of a prefabricated cover beam and belongs to the field of bridge engineering construction. The method is mainly invented for solving the problem of low efficiency of a construction method for cast-in-place of a capping beam by adopting a vertical mold. A capping beam reserved opening is formed in a pier body, and after a bottom die and a template of the reserved opening are installed, capping beam steel bars are bound. Pre-embedded sleeves are arranged at the contact positions of main reinforcements of the cover beam and the reserved opening formwork, pre-embedded sleeve steel is connected to the reinforcements, connecting reinforcements of the pre-embedded sleeves are welded to the main reinforcements of the cover beam, two sleeves are pre-embedded at the bottom of the position of the cover beam, side formwork installation of the cover beam is conducted after the steel reinforcements of the cover beam are bound, and the cover beam is constructed in a prefabricating field.
