The invention provides a capping beam structure, a pier and a splicing method of a capping beam, and belongs to the technical field of bridge construction. The capping beam structure comprises a capping beam main body, a stop block and a locking reinforcing steel bar. A first channel is formed in the capping beam body and extends in the length direction of the capping beam body. A second channel is formed in the stop block and extends in the length direction of the capping beam main body. The locking reinforcing steel bar is used for penetrating through the first channel and the second channel so that the stop block can be detachably locked to one end, in the length direction, of the cover beam body. When the structure is adopted for widening in the later period, the stop block is convenient to dismantle, construction time is saved, operation is easy, reserved and convenient temporary consolidation conditions are provided for widening of the structure in the later period, and therefore auxiliary equipment needed by construction of the structure in the later period can be reduced, and construction efficiency is improved. Construction difficulty of the structure during later widening is reduced, so that the construction period is shortened, and construction cost is reduced.
