The invention provides a high pier capping beam supporting system which is used in the field of bridge construction and comprises a pier column, an embedded part, a bearing assembly, a transverse distribution beam and a formwork. The embedded part is embedded in a pier column and comprises a connecting part, supporting bases are arranged on the two sides of the pier column in the extending direction of a bridge respectively, each supporting base comprises a horizontal supporting piece and an inclined supporting piece located on the bottom side of the horizontal supporting piece, the horizontal supporting pieces are detachably installed on the connecting part, and one end of each inclined supporting piece is detachably installed on the connecting part. The other end is connected with one end, far away from the pier column, of the horizontal support; the bearing assembly is installed at the top end of the supporting base. The transverse distribution beams are mounted at the top ends of the bearing assemblies; the formwork comprises a horizontal bottom plate extending out of the pier column in the extending-out direction of the capping beam cantilever, the horizontal bottom plate is installed at the top end of the transverse distribution beam, and the high pier capping beam supporting system can meet the requirement for construction stress safety of a large-size long-cantilever high pier capping beam and has the advantage of being capable of being recycled.
